Mausoleum Sidi Ahmed Tijani

Sidi Ahmed Tijani is the founder of the « tariqa », the Sufi brotherhood that bears his name: the Tijaniya. The followers of the Tijaniya come to Fez from several countries of sub-Saharan Africa to visit the tomb of the Sheikh of the Tariqa Tijaniya and attend the dikr in his mosque.

Merinid Cemetery

To the north of Fez el Bali, among the agaves, cacti, and olive groves, a series of ruins reminiscent of the work of a metaphysical painter continue to intrigue and fascinate; these are the remains of the Merinid cemetery built in the 14th century under the Merinid dynasty which reigned over Morocco between the 13th and 15th centuries.

Jewish Cemetery

Inside this Jewish cemetery were buried in the 20th century some great personalities who marked the history of Fez, as well as craftsmen who produced memorable masterpieces of Moroccan art. Located in the Mellah district, it is open to visits from the Jewish community.
