Royal Palace

This monumental edifice was built by the Marinid Sultan Yacoub ben Abdelhak in Hijri year 674, i.e. 1276 AD. It is, since its foundation, a tangible witness of various events marking the history of Fez Jdid since its foundation. Today, the Royal Palace continues to fascinate visitors with its seven gates of different sizes representing, according to some historians, the seven days of the week.

Palace Mnebhi

The Mnebhi Palace was built by Mnebhi, Minister of Defense of Sultan Moulay Abdelaziz (early 20th century). This residence was the first residence of Marshal Lyautey in 1912. Restored by private owners, the palace is characterized by its large size, its walls measuring more than 6 meters in height, and also by the richness of its ornaments and sculptures.

Dar Lazraq

At the bottom of the small Kharaja street hides Dar Lazraq, a real architectural gem taking its name from a famous Fassi family. Founded in the Merinid period in the 15th century, this beautiful residence stands out for its domestic Fez architecture and its decorative and artistic qualities.
